Immerse yourself in the cultural diversity of the Caucasus with this 14-day journey through Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. We will begin our adventure in the land of fire, Azerbaijan. In Bakú, the "City of Winds", we will discover a metropolis of contrasts where futuristic skyscrapers like the Flame Towers rise alongside the ancient walled city of Icherisheher. We will explore the Absheron Peninsula and travel back in time admiring the petroglyphs of the Gobustán Reserve. Our westward route will take us through mountainous landscapes to Sheki, a historic Silk Road enclave famous for its Palace of the Khans and its colorful stained glass windows.
Georgia: Wine and Mountains
We will cross the border into Georgia to enter the Kakheti region, the heart of Georgian viticulture. We will visit the city of Telavi and the ancient academy of Ikalto before arriving in vibrant Tiflis. From the capital, we will head north along the spectacular Georgian Military Highway to reach Kazbegi, where the Trinity Church of Gergeti will give us unforgettable views of Mount Kazbek. Armenia: Faith and Tradition
The final stage takes us to Armenia, the world's first Christian country. In Ereván, the "pink city", we will immerse ourselves in its history and culture, visiting the Genocide Memorial and Republic Square. DAY 4: Bakú - Shamaki - Sheki
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will begin our route by immersing ourselves in the mysticism of the Diri Baba Mausoleum. This fascinating 15th-century monument, partially carved into a cliff, will surprise us with its unique fusion of Islamic architecture and wild nature.
