Here, you will have the opportunity to explore its defensive towers and centuries-old walls, which offer an unparalleled panoramic view over the turquoise waters of Zhinvali Reservoir, creating a perfect postcard of local heritage. Continuing our route to the heights, we will head north to discover the emblematic Church of the Trinity of Gergeti. This sanctuary, which rises majestically 2,170 meters above sea level, rests under the watchful gaze of the giant Mount Kazbegi. In this magical setting, surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the Caucasus mountain range, you will be able to breathe pure air and admire the solemn beauty of this ancient monastic complex, making this day an unforgettable sensory experience.

Our route today takes us to explore landscapes of astonishing contrasts, beginning with a journey to the semi-desert landscape to discover the Monastery of David Gareji. This extraordinary 6th-century complex, carved into the very rock of the hills, will offer us a unique view of the arid environment and its troglodyte architecture, immersing us in the history of the Assyrian fathers in a place of great mysticism. Leaving the desert behind, we will head to the greenery of the Kakheti region to visit the sacred Monasterio de Bodbe. In this pilgrimage site, where Saint Nino rests, we will enjoy an atmosphere of peace and admire the impressive views over the Alazani Valley. The day culminates in the charming Signagui, popularly known as the "City of Love". We will stroll through its cobblestone streets admiring its traditional architecture and its extensive defensive walls. From here, the panoramic views of the valley with the backdrop of the Caucasus mountains are simply unforgettable. After enjoying the beauty of this picturesque town, we will begin our return to Tbilisi.

We will leave behind Tbilisi to first visit the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia, Mtskheta. There we will explore its treasures declared World Heritage Sites: the panoramic Jvari Monastery and the sacred Cathedral of Svetitskhoveli. Next, we will travel through ancient history in Uplistsikhe, an impressive Iron Age rock city where we will walk among caves and temples carved into the sandstone rock. Our next stop will be in the nearby city of Gori, where we will visit the Stalin Museum to learn about the birthplace and career of the Soviet leader. Finally, we will continue our journey westward, venturing into the legendary land of Colchis, until reaching Kutaisi, where we will stay.
