14 Days | Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaiyán
Let yourself be seduced by the "Charms of the Caucasus" on a balanced 15-day journey that distributes time ideally between the three countries. Starting in Bakú, the capital of Azerbaijan, we will venture inland to discover the architectural jewel of Sheki, situated on the forested slopes of the Greater Caucasus. Here we will visit the Summer Palace of the Khans, famous for its frescoes and stained glass without nails or glue.
The Georgian section focuses on the eastern region, allowing for a relaxed exploration without long transfers to the west or coast. We will visit Kakheti, where we will learn about the country's ancient winemaking tradition, and Signagi, with its 18th-century defensive wall. In Tiflis, we will have time to enjoy its bohemian atmosphere, its cafés and its historical monuments, such as the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the Bridge of Peace.
In Armenia, we will dedicate a week to exploring its most precious treasures. From the green and humid north of Dilijan, with its monasteries hidden in the forest like Haghartsin, to the arid and spectacular south of Areni. We will visit Lake Sevan, one of the largest high-altitude lakes in the world, and the monastery of Sevanavank. In Ereván, we will explore Armenian history and culture, visiting the Genocide Museum and the Vernissage craft market. The journey concludes with essential visits to Garni, Geghard and Khor Virap, offering a complete vision of Armenian heritage.
