From its privileged location on the hill, we will visually dominate the entire city before moving to a place of spectacular geography: the Monastery of Motsameta. Dramatically located on a rocky promontory surrounded by the Tskaltsitela river, this sanctuary offers an atmosphere of deep spirituality and moving landscapes. A short distance away, the Academia de Gelati awaits us, a complex declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site that preserves invaluable frescoes and the history of the Georgian Golden Age. Subsequently, we will leave behind the city's surroundings to venture into the picturesque region of Racha, famous for its mountainous landscapes. There we will visit the Cathedral of Nikortsminda, a masterpiece of ecclesiastical architecture, recognized worldwide for the intricate beauty of its stone reliefs and magnificent decorated interiors. Surrounded by the serenity of the mountains, we will enjoy this artistic gem before undertaking the return journey to Kutaisi, thus concluding a day dedicated to sacred art and nature.

We will start the day leaving behind Kutaisi to venture into the immensity of Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, considered one of the largest and most diverse natural spaces in Europe. We will walk along trails that wind through ancient forests, enjoying the purity of the air and discovering the pristine beauty of this protected ecosystem, as well as the traditions of nearby communities. The adventure will intensify when we descend to the river for an exciting Rafting session in Borjomi. We will navigate the waters of the Mtkvari river, facing level II and III rapids that guarantee fun and adrenaline in a safe environment. After the physical activity, the perfect moment for disconnection will arrive: we will immerse ourselves in restorative outdoor sulfur pools. Surrounded by the greenery of the forest, we will let the healing properties of the thermal springs relax our muscles. With our energies renewed by this perfect combination of sport and wellness, we will continue our journey until we reach Akhaltsikhe for our overnight rest.

Today, we will begin the day exploring the majestic Vardzia, an extraordinary 12th-century rock-hewn monastery-city that will transport us to the past. We will venture into its labyrinthine tunnels to discover unique medieval frescoes and visit its ancient cellars, witnesses to the millennia-old winemaking tradition of the area. We will continue our route towards the imposing Fortaleza Khertvisi, one of the oldest fortifications in Georgia, strategically located in the Samtskhe-Javakheti valley; there we will admire its robust walls and enjoy unparalleled panoramic views. Finally, we will head towards Tbilisi to conclude the day. Although an extensive road journey awaits us, this will become a memorable experience in itself, offering us a continuous visual spectacle. We will cross dreamlike landscapes dominated by the imposing mountains of the Lesser Caucasus, where wild nature and peaks will accompany us throughout the entire journey until we reach the vibrant capital, thus closing a day full of history and natural beauty.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our cultural immersion in the vibrant Avenida Rustaveli, the beating heart of Tbilisi. On this elegant boulevard, we will admire architectural gems such as the imposing Parliament and the neo-Moorish Opera Theatre, as well as the distinctive Rustaveli Theatre and the beautiful Kashveti Church. Our tour will then take us to Plaza de Metekhi, where the historic church and the equestrian statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali will offer us privileged views over the Mtkvari River. The experience will reach new heights as we take the cable car up to Fortaleza Narikala, the ancient 4th-century defensive citadel that offers the best panoramic views of the capital. Afterwards, we will venture into the picturesque district of Abanotubani, known worldwide for its historic sulfur baths and the charm of its medieval streets. Finally, we will culminate this unforgettable day by visiting the Basilica of Anchiskhati, the oldest church in the city, where time seems to stand still among its walls and centuries-old frescoes.

We will leave behind Tbilisi to first visit the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia, Mtskheta. There we will explore its treasures declared World Heritage Sites: the panoramic Jvari Monastery and the sacred Cathedral of Svetitskhoveli. Next, we will travel through ancient history in Uplistsikhe, an impressive Iron Age rock city where we will walk among caves and temples carved into the sandstone rock. Our next stop will be in the nearby city of Gori, where we will visit the Stalin Museum to learn about the birthplace and career of the Soviet leader. Finally, we will continue our journey westward, venturing into the legendary land of Colchis, until reaching Kutaisi, where we will stay.
