Discover "Legendary Georgia" on an 8-day journey through the myths and history of the country. From the capital, Tiflis, we will travel north to see Mount Kazbek and the Ananuri fortress, immersing ourselves in the legends of the Caucasus.

The itinerary then takes us south, visiting the impressive cave city of Vardzia, carved into the mountain in the 12th century by Queen Tamara. This monastic complex is a marvel of medieval engineering. We will also explore the multicultural fortress of Rabati in Akhaltsikhe, a symbol of the region's religious tolerance.

The Green West

In the west, nature takes center stage. We will explore the Prometheus Cave, with its illuminated underground formations, and navigate through the canyons of Martvili. DAY 2: Tbilisi - Guided tour

DAY 3: Tbilisi - Ananuri - Kazbegui - Tbilisi

In this historical complex we will delve into the life of the controversial Soviet leader, observing his original birthplace and his imposing personal armored train car. A few kilometers away, we will go back in time visiting Uplistsikhe, a fascinating rock-hewn city carved into sandstone. We will walk through its ancient streets, exploring theaters, pharmacies and pagan temples dating from the Iron Age, all with privileged views of the Mtkvari river. After this archaeological immersion, we will continue our journey south, crossing changing landscapes until we reach Akhaltsikhe. DAY 5: Akhaltsikhe - Vardzia - Khertvisi - Rabati - Kutaisi

DAY 6: Kutaisi - Promete - Martvili - Batumi

We will begin the day descending into the bowels of the earth in the spectacular Prometheus Cave, located very close to Kutaisi. We will tour its immense halls decorated with millenary stalactites and stalagmites, enhanced by artistic lighting and classical music, and if the groundwater level permits, we will live the unique experience of exiting the cave navigating by boat through its hidden river. Next, the adventure continues on the surface by visiting Martvili Canyon. In this dreamlike corner of the Samegrelo region, the turquoise-colored water and subtropical vegetation create an unforgettable landscape. If the river water has adequate water level, we will enjoy a boat ride along the Abasha river and walk along trails surrounded by waterfalls. DAY 7: Batumi - its surroundings
