Our cultural exploration begins in Kutaisi, first visiting the majestic Catedral de Bagrati. From its privileged location on the hill, we will visually dominate the entire city before moving to a place of spectacular geography: the Monastery of Motsameta. Dramatically located on a rocky promontory surrounded by the Tskaltsitela river, this sanctuary offers an atmosphere of deep spirituality and moving landscapes. A short distance away, the Academia de Gelati awaits us, a complex declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site that preserves invaluable frescoes and the history of the Georgian Golden Age. Subsequently, we will leave behind the city's surroundings to venture into the picturesque region of Racha, famous for its mountainous landscapes. There we will visit the Cathedral of Nikortsminda, a masterpiece of ecclesiastical architecture, recognized worldwide for the intricate beauty of its stone reliefs and magnificent decorated interiors. Surrounded by the serenity of the mountains, we will enjoy this artistic gem before undertaking the return journey to Kutaisi, thus concluding a day dedicated to sacred art and nature.

Today we will dedicate the day to exploring the coast of Guria and Adjara. Our first visit will be to the surprising Dendrological Park of Shekvetili, an oasis of biodiversity facing the Black Sea. We will walk along its trails to admire transplanted centuries-old trees, Japanese-style gardens and rich fauna that includes exotic birds in freedom, all in an atmosphere of absolute peace. Later, we will move to the "Pearl of the Black Sea", the city of Batumi. There we will have time to get lost in the streets of its old town, full of European charm, and stroll along the modern Boulevard next to the beach, observing famous sculptures like that of Ali and Nino. As evening falls we will begin the return journey to Kutaisi, taking with us the sea breeze and the memory of a day full of contrasts.

Our circular journey is dedicated to the most precious natural jewels of western Georgia. We will begin the adventure exploring the underground world of the Prometheus Cave, a geological labyrinth of 1.4 km in length open to tourism. We will marvel at its illuminated rock formations and, whenever hydrological conditions are favorable, we will complete the visit with a mysterious boat ride along the underground river Kumi. After emerging into the light, we will head to the historic Martvili Canyon, former summer resort of the Dadiani nobility. There, the combination of emerald-colored waters, thunderous waterfalls and dense forests creates a magical atmosphere. If the water level permits, we will navigate by boat through the canyon and walk along its stone walkways, breathing the pure air of the region before undertaking the short journey back to our accommodation in Kutaisi, having enjoyed the best of Georgian nature.
