After enjoying a relaxing breakfast at the hotel, we will dedicate the morning to connecting with the cultural roots of the region at the Ethnographic Museum of Batumi. This unique space, work of sculptor Kemal Turmanidze, will captivate us with its impressive wood carvings and recreations that celebrate the soul and traditional customs of Georgia in a visual and artistic way. Subsequently, we will move south to explore the historic Gonio Fortress. In this ancient Roman bastion from the 1st century, we will walk among ruins that whisper stories of the Silk Road and sacred legends, such as the supposed location of the tomb of the Apostle Matthias, all with the Black Sea breeze in the background. To close the day with a cosmopolitan touch, we will return to the heart of the city to tour the center of Batumi. We will get lost through the charming streets of the old town and stroll along its iconic coastal Boulevard, absorbing the vibrant atmosphere and eclectic architecture of this jewel of the Caucasus.

After a relaxing breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our adventure discovering the natural richness of the coast at the Shekvetili Dendrological Park. This impressive modern botanical garden unfolds as a sanctuary of biodiversity facing the Black Sea, where we will stroll among a unique collection of more than 200 species of exotic plants, explore its fascinating tropical greenhouse and venture into its artistic hedge maze. Subsequently, our journey will take a turn towards history and spirituality as we head to the Ubisa Monastery. Nestled in a picturesque mountain landscape, this 9th-century complex houses within its walls one of Georgia's most valuable artistic treasures: its vibrant 14th-century frescoes. The visit to this sacred place will allow us to appreciate the mastery of the medieval pictorial school and enjoy the peace that emanates from its surroundings, offering us a deep and serene cultural experience on our way to the capital.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our cultural immersion in the vibrant Avenida Rustaveli, the beating heart of Tbilisi. On this elegant boulevard, we will admire architectural gems such as the imposing Parliament and the neo-Moorish Opera Theatre, as well as the distinctive Rustaveli Theatre and the beautiful Kashveti Church. Our tour will then take us to Plaza de Metekhi, where the historic church and the equestrian statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali will offer us privileged views over the Mtkvari River. The experience will reach new heights as we take the cable car up to Fortaleza Narikala, the ancient 4th-century defensive citadel that offers the best panoramic views of the capital. Afterwards, we will venture into the picturesque district of Abanotubani, known worldwide for its historic sulfur baths and the charm of its medieval streets. Finally, we will culminate this unforgettable day by visiting the Basilica of Anchiskhati, the oldest church in the city, where time seems to stand still among its walls and centuries-old frescoes.

We will leave behind Tbilisi to first visit the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia, Mtskheta. There we will explore its treasures declared World Heritage Sites: the panoramic Jvari Monastery and the sacred Cathedral of Svetitskhoveli. Next, we will travel through ancient history in Uplistsikhe, an impressive Iron Age rock city where we will walk among caves and temples carved into the sandstone rock. Our next stop will be in the nearby city of Gori, where we will visit the Stalin Museum to learn about the birthplace and career of the Soviet leader. Finally, we will continue our journey westward, venturing into the legendary land of Colchis, until reaching Kutaisi, where we will stay.

We will begin the day descending into the bowels of the earth in the spectacular Prometheus Cave, located very close to Kutaisi. We will tour its immense halls decorated with millenary stalactites and stalagmites, enhanced by artistic lighting and classical music, and if the groundwater level permits, we will live the unique experience of exiting the cave navigating by boat through its hidden river. Next, the adventure continues on the surface by visiting Martvili Canyon. In this dreamlike corner of the Samegrelo region, the turquoise-colored water and subtropical vegetation create an unforgettable landscape. If the river water has adequate water level, we will enjoy a boat ride along the Abasha river and walk along trails surrounded by waterfalls. Finally, with our camera full of spectacular photos, we will head towards the coast to end our day in the modern and lively city of Batumi.
