This program is a concentrated version of our grand journeys, eliminating the longer travels to western Georgia to focus on the cultural and historical heart of Armenia and the central and southern region of Georgia. Ideal for those who want to see a lot in a short time.

Medieval Armenia

Enjoy Armenian hospitality by visiting the medieval monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin, World Heritage Sites, on your way to the border. In Yerevan, we will explore ancient and modern history, from the Genocide Museum to Republic Square, and visit nearby Garni and Geghard.

Georgia: Contrast and Stone

In Georgia, we will experience the contrast between modern and ancient Tbilisi, with its cable cars and sulfur baths. We will climb to the Caucasus mountains visiting the Ananuri fortress and reaching Kazbegi. We will travel to the past in the excavated city of Uplistsikhe, an ancient pagan center.

The highlight of the Georgian stretch will be the visit to Vardzia, the immense cave city of Queen Tamara, and the Khertvisi fortress. The return to Armenia is made through the picturesque Javakheti region, visiting Gyumri. Nine days maximized to take home a complete postcard of the architectural and landscape richness of these sister lands.

DAY 1: Transfer from Zvartnots airport to Yerevan

DAY 2: Ereván - Paseo por la ciudad Ereván - Museo y Memorial de Genocidio Armenio - Parque de Victoria  -  Garni - Geghard -Ereván

We will begin our journey by immersing ourselves in the vibrant essence of Ereván, a capital where history and modernity go hand in hand. During our city tour, we will explore its elegant avenues to admire the majestic Republic Square and the monumental Cascade complex, enjoying, if weather permits, views of the biblical Mount Ararat. Next, we will make an essential and moving visit to the Armenian Genocide Museum and the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial, a space of peace and reflection dedicated to the historical memory of 1915. Subsequently, we will travel back to the pagan past of the region at the Temple of Garni, the only Hellenistic monument in the Caucasus, surrounded by an overwhelming natural environment. DAY 3: Erevan - Saghmosavank - Haghpat - Sanahin - Sadakhlo - Tbilisi

After enjoying breakfast, we will start our route northward, stopping first at the spectacular Monastery of Saghmosavank. This stone sentinel, erected at the edge of the vertiginous canyon of the Kasagh river, will offer us breathtaking panoramic views and allow us to discover its historic manuscript library, witness to ancient wisdom. Next, we will venture into the green region of Lori to discover two medieval treasures declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. DAY 4: Tbilisi - Guided tour

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our cultural immersion in the vibrant Avenida Rustaveli, the beating heart of Tbilisi. On this elegant boulevard, we will admire architectural gems such as the imposing Parliament and the neo-Moorish Opera Theatre, as well as the distinctive Rustaveli Theatre and the beautiful Kashveti Church. Our tour will then take us to Plaza de Metekhi, where the historic church and the equestrian statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali will offer us privileged views over the Mtkvari River. DAY 5: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Gori - Uplistsikhe - Bordjomi - Akhaltsikhe

We will start the day visiting the ancient capital and spiritual heart of Georgia, Mtskheta. There we will admire the Jvari Monastery and the sacred Cathedral of Svetitskhoveli, both World Heritage Sites, before continuing west. DAY 6: Akhaltsikhe - Vardzia - Khertvisi - Bavra - Gyumri

Today we will begin an unforgettable journey by immersing ourselves in the majesty of Vardzia, an impressive rock-hewn monastery city carved into the rock dating from the 12th century. This monumental complex invites us to explore its intricate network of tunnels, cells and sanctuaries, where art comes to life through unique medieval frescoes, especially highlighting the iconic representation of the legendary Queen Tamar, symbol of the Georgian golden age. Subsequently, we will head towards Bavra, the strategic enclave that marks the border between Armenia and Georgia. DAY 7: Gyumri - Paseo por la ciudad Gyumri - Casco Antiguo Diliján - Sevan - Ereván

We will begin the day immersing ourselves in the nostalgic charm of Gyumri, considered the cultural capital of Armenia. We will enjoy a relaxed walk through the city of Gyumri, touring its historic cobblestone streets where 19th-century architecture, built with characteristic black and red volcanic tufa, will tell us stories of resilience and local art. After absorbing the bohemian atmosphere of the city, we will head towards the green north to discover the picturesque Old Town of Diliján. In this corner, often called "Little Switzerland" for its dense forests, we will walk along the restored Sharambeyan street, a living museum of artisan workshops and balconies carved in traditional wood. The journey will continue towards one of the most important natural jewels of the Caucasus: Lake Sevan. On the shores of this immense high-mountain "sea", we will let ourselves be captivated by the intense blue of its waters and the alpine landscape that surrounds it, creating a perfect visual contrast. Finally, with our retina full of diverse landscapes, we will head to Ereván, the vibrant capital, where we will conclude our tour and settle in to rest.
