2122 Voices of the Caucasus - From Armenia to Georgia in 15 Days

13 Days  |  Georgia, Armenia

About this trip

Listen to the echoes of the past and the vibrant life of the present in "Voices of the Caucasus", a 15-day journey that perfectly harmonizes cultural heritage with coastal relaxation. This itinerary is ideal for those who wish to thoroughly explore the richness of Armenia and Georgia, but also seek moments of disconnection by the sea and in lush nature.

Armenia: Spirituality and Tradition

We begin our journey in Ereván, immersing ourselves in Armenia's welcoming atmosphere. We will visit the pillars of Armenian faith in Echmiadzin and Zvartnots, and travel to the pagan past at the Temple of Garni. The route will take us through volcanic landscapes to the monastery of Noravank and the famous cave of Areni, where the world's oldest shoe was found. Armenian hospitality and its delicious gastronomy will be our constant companions.

Georgia: Mountains, History and the Black Sea Breeze

Crossing north to Georgia, a change of pace and landscape awaits us. We will explore Tiflis, with its unique blend of oriental and European architecture, and climb the Georgian Military Highway towards the clouds in Kazbegi. What distinguishes this trip is its incursion towards the western coast. After visiting the UNESCO sites of Kutaisi, such as the Bagrati cathedral and the Gelati monastery, we will descend towards Batumi.

In Batumi, the "Pearl of the Black Sea", we will enjoy its avant-garde architecture, its extensive boulevard and the impressive Dendrological Garden, an oasis of biodiversity. The return through the Goderdzi pass (weather permitting) or via the southern route will gift us views of the greenest and most unknown Georgia, visiting the Rabati fortress and the Vardzia caves. "Voices of the Caucasus" is a symphony of experiences: from polyphonic singing in temples to the sound of waves on the beach.
